Mrs. Curlee, age 72, of Charlotte, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at her home. Born April 30, 1940 in Cabarrus Co, she was a daughter of the late George Odell and Jane Hastings Odell. She graduated from Central High School. Mrs. Curlee retired as executive secretary of Charlotte Commercial Group. She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church and a former member of Ascension Lutheran Church. Mrs. Curlee enjoyed cooking and gardening.
The family will receive friends 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Saturday at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service. A private graveside service will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, David Caldwell Curlee; a daughter, Stephanie Lynn Curlee; a sister, Melva Winston Bartush; and a granddaughter, Scout Curlee. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Curlee was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Jones Curlee.
