Born March 5, 1952 in Munich, Germany, Jack was the son of the late George Jackson McCrary and Edith Ewing McCrary.
He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University and his Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. Jack was most proud of being a father, grandfather, Eagle Scout and Professional Engineer. Spending time with his daughters, grandson and friends, was most important to him.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Caleb Jackson McCrary, his “Little Buddy” and his sister, Jane McCrary Younginer.
He is survived by his two daughters, Christi and Andrea McCrary; wife, Jeanne Craig McCrary; sister, Patricia McCrary Bryant; and nephews, Christopher and Steven McGinnis.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill, with a memorial service to immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
