Dottie attended Central Cabarrus High School and Independence High School. She owned her own cleaning business for 20+ years. She was an entrepreneur and pursued many business ventures. She was very creative and had many hobbies. Her family always looked forward to her homemade cards for holidays and birthdays. She loved to talk, and she never met a stranger. She was loved by everyone who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Victor Harrington; her mother, Ramona Ross; her brothers, Trent Short (Kristi) and Mark Bolding; her sisters, Taffney Church (David) and Crystal Tyner (Jeff); her nieces, nephews, and many other loving extended family members and her grandcat, Johnny Cage.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at McEwen Funeral Service - Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews - MInt Hill Chapel, Charlotte, North Carolina. A visitation will be held prior from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
