He was born on December 5, 1942, in Washington D.C., to loving parents Dean and William Kaleel and beloved older brother David.
Don grew up in North Carolina and in his adult years lived in Florida and California before relocating to South Carolina. He proudly served in the US Army and was a successful owner of a sales brokerage company.
Don cherished his family, friends and most especially his dogs. He also enjoyed traveling, gardening, birds, the beach, music, shooting and motorcycles. Don seized life and lived it to the fullest!
He will always be remembered as being kind, generous, creative, stoic, determined and funny. He will be greatly missed by his companions and friends but will always have a special place in their hearts.
In lieu of flowers, Don requested that a donation be made to the Donald Kaleel Fund/Believers Bible Chapel at Believers Bible Chapel, P.O. Box 1345, Pineville, North Carolina 28134 or via Zelle at [email protected].
