Delores White

Delores White, age 85, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023. Delores was born on September 26, 1937 to the late Alvin and Janet Berry. Delores was proud to be a native Charlottean, being born and raised here.

Delores was married to her loving husband John “Bob” White, together they had two sons, Randy and Jeff. The two of them were also founding members of the Hornets’ Nest Chapter of the Antique Automobile Club. She also was a proud member of Northside Baptist Church since the 60’s. Delores was a hard-working woman, working for International Harvester for over 50 years.

In her later years Delores loved to spend time with her two granddaughters, they were her world.

Delores is predeceased by her loving husband, Bob White; son, Randy White; and two brothers, Alvin and Jerry Berry.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory, her son, Jeff White (Holly) and their two daughters, Carissa and Caroline; along with other family and friends.

A graveside service for Delores will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208.
