David Clayton Haney

David was born September 27, 1981 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to David and Theresa Haney.

He attended and graduated from North Catholic High School, moving to Charlotte, North Carolina several years later. Over the course of his working career he was a manager for Boston Market and was currently employed as a ramp agent with Piedmont Airlines. When not working, David was the epitome of a family man, he spent the bulk of his time with his wife and children doing activities including family outings, coaching his sons Little League team, Daddy and daughter dates, and frequent big family dinners with extended family members. He also greatly enjoyed watching and keeping up with a variety of sports, playing poker, and participating on teams such as softball.

David is survived by his wife Meghan McIntyre Haney, daughter Taylor, son David, mother Theresa and siblings Barry, Jeremy, and Kaitlin. In addition, he was predeceased by his father David.

Memorial Services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at McEwen Funeral Home – Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210. A time of Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 2 pm at the same address as above.
