Charlotte - Carolyn Rose Stowers, 87, left her earthly home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 29, 2016. She was born on April 6, 1928 in Branson, Missouri, a daughter of the late T. Pierce Stowers, Sr. and Elsie Carolyn Stowers.
Carolyn lived in Charlotte for many years and was a faithful employee of Celanese Corporation. She was a long time member of Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church.
She is survived by her beloved brother, Pierce Stowers, Jr., and his wife Barbara, of Matthews, NC
A service by the graveside to celebrate her life will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, February 2, at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Rd., with Reverend Bobby Morrow, Senior Pastor of Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church, 1117 South Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203, or to Presbyterian Hospice Foundation, 200 Hawthorne Lane, Charlotte, NC 28204.
