Carol M. Milton

She was born April 25, 1939 in Jamestown, New York the daughter of the late Cornelius Fisher and Cecilia Baker Fisher.

Carol graduated from Kent State University and began a long career of teaching the fourth grade. She was an active member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church and enjoyed organizing and coordinating various church events. Her love for gardening, travel and family were evident in the way she chose to share her time with others. Whether it was a beach trip, golf tournament or family gathering, nothing was better than getting the people she loved together and spending time in great company.

Surviving are her three sons, Patrick Leary of Columbia, SC, Kris Leary and wife Lessa of Gwinnett, GA and Timothy Leary of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Susie Belk and husband Dale of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, Kyle Leary, Kelli Leary, Nicole Leary, Abbey Leary, Dusty Leary, Toby Leary and Morgan Ayers; three great-grandchildren; brother, Albert Fisher; sister, Mary Anzalone; and numerous other loving family.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Wilson Funeral Service, 5301 Albemarle Road, Charlotte, NC 28212.

A funeral mass will be held at 2:30 PM Thursday, June 20, 2013 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 3635 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28209. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery.
