She is retired from the Hoechst Celanese Corp. after many years of employment with them. Carol was a loving mother and grandmother. She adored her grandsons, Daniel and Noah tremendously. She loved to spend her free time being able to visit Daniel and Noah. She was such a loving sister to her brothers, Richard and Doug and her sister, Judy.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Lisa and husband Danny; grandsons, Daniel and Noah; her brothers, Richard and Doug, her sister, Judy; along with many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Velma McCorkle; sisters, Madeline and Sue; and brothers, Leonard, Lewis, Gene and Bobby.
Carol will be missed by so many. She is highly remembered for being one of the best cooks around. Her cooking was incredible. Carol had the ability to cook anything and make it taste so good, especially her meatloaf, chicken salad, and her famous banana pudding, which her grandsons loved.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, February 23rd at Sharon Memorial Park.
We love you greatly Mom. We are going to miss you so much. We are looking forward to seeing you very soon one day.
