Born October 1, 2002, in Weston, Florida. He is the son of Alexander Barreras and Leanne Gonzalez Barreras, and brother to Sophia, Gabriella, Danielle, and Hannah. In Highschool, he was a lead member of Hopewell’s varsity wrestling team, track, and football teams. After graduating from Hopewell High School, Bryan ambitiously jumped into the workforce to help build his life for himself and his loved ones while studying in college.
The joy of Bryan’s life was his family, friends, and loved ones. He showed his love by honoring all commitments and showing his dependability for those in need. The loss of Bryan will leave a large hole in many hearts. His love for his family and friends was indisputable, and his smile and laugh would light up any room. Bryan continually made sure to spread his positive outlook with the endless love he had to share.
Bryan loved staying active and could often be seen working out at the gym. He loved to cook and provide nourishment to his family. He had a love for cars and dreamed of fixing up and building his dream car. Bryan always learned from his experiences, often passing on life advice to his younger siblings and many friends. He spent his life deeply devoted to God and practiced Judaism as he walked through life.
Bryan pushed himself to be the best he could be, never giving up hope. No matter what obstacles he faced, Bryan always remained true to himself.
Bryan was a devoted son and brother, being sure to always spend time with family and come to important events no matter what. He was a great caretaker to his pets, Jake and Tucker, and an avid animal lover. He was reliable, loving, adventurous, and never stopped planning what was next to come in his journey.
He is survived by Alexander Barreras and Leanne Gonzalez Barreras, and by his sisters Sophia, Gabriella, Danielle, and Hannah. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones.
A private service to commemorate Bryan’s life will be held on Wednesday July 24th, 2024, at the Hebrew Cemetery in Charlotte, North Carolina. The family will receive family and friends in the days following the service.
