Brenda was a member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene. She attended North Mecklenburg High School and graduated from Aiken High School in Aiken SC. She received her nursing degree from the School of Nursing at South Carolina Baptist Hospital in Columbia, SC.
After graduation, Brenda worked for Presbyterian Hospital. She later worked as a programmer for Eastern Airlines and EDS and then returned to private duty nursing with Maxum and Aveanna Healthcare.
Brenda is survived by sisters Madeline Hammer Tanner of Aiken, SC, Martha Hammer Morrison (Bobby) of Concord, NC, Vickie Hammer Elliott (Brett) of Fallston, NC and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
She is preceded in death by husband Billy T. Robinson, her parents, brothers Melvin, Douglas and Kenneth Hammer and sisters Peggy Hailey and Nancy Boyd.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 10am at McEwen Funeral Service located at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte. The Reverend John Brenner will officiate.
