Betty M. Crank, 88, of Charlotte, died Saturday March 5, 2016 at Legacy Heights in Charlotte. She was born in Mecklenburg County to the late Elvaree H. Helms Miller and D. M. Miller.
Betty graduated from Central High School and went on to work as a lifelong employee of Southern Bell. She was a former member of Faith Covenant Church of God and a current member of Matthews Presbyterian.
Survivors left to cherish her memory include her daughter Lee Ann Stephenson and husband Don; grandsons Tyler, Hunter and Will Stephenson; great grandson Sawyer Stephenson and one brother Jack Miller.
She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life Grover Crank.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Matthews Presbyterian Church, 207 W John Street, Matthews, NC 28105.
