Benjamin Franklin Scott, age 77, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022. Born November 22, 1944 in Walterboro, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Lewis and Noveless Scott.
Scott was a graduate of Boys and Girls High School in New York and a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp, where he served his country for 3 years and 11 months.
He was employed with the United States Postal service for numerous years. During this time he met Aleta Blunt aka Jill. Scott and Jill were together for more than 50 years.
Scott leaves behind two sisters and two brothers along with three step-daughters.
A visitation for Scott will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208.
