Barbara S. McCall, 93, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 17, 2022. She was predeceased by her father Raymond Columbus Shaw and her mother Annie Henderson Shaw, along with her brother Raymond Columbus Shaw, Jr and her husband of 58 years Archie B. McCall.
Barbara was a native Charlottean, and a long-time member of Hickory Grove Presbyterian Church, where she was very active in Presbyterian Women and served on various committees of the church.
Barbara is survived by her children, Mac McCall (Debbie), Donald McCall (Sandy), and Karen Harvey (Jody); 9 grandchildren, Zach McCall (Laura), Justin Kirkpatrick, Seth McCall (Laura), Katie Lamb (Jason), Tyler Kirkpatrick (Jackie), Payton McCall, Gavin McCall, Kailee McCall, and Emma McCall; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family is being served by McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte. Visitation will be at 11:00 am on Friday, September 30, 2022, with a graveside celebration service at 1:00 pm.
The family asks that memorials be sent to the donor’s choice.
