Anne Martin Grant, 78, of Charlotte, passed away on August 27, 2013. She was born on February 2, 1935 in Polkton, NC to the late Joe and Julia Martin. Anne was the Valedictorian of her graduating class from Polkton High School in 1953. She married Oscar Francis Grant on June 16, 1962. Anne worked as an executive secretary for the US Government in such departments as the FBI, Army Reserve and Federal Mediation. She was an active member of the Brookshire Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Anne was predeceased by her husband. She is survived by her son, Darrell Grant, her granddaughter, Rachel (Kyle) Souder, brothers; Bobby (Doris) Martin and Jason (Louise) Martin, sisters; Judy (Butch) Wait and Rose Harrell.
