Alice was a 1964 graduate of Garinger High School in Charlotte, NC. She was married in 1970 to Mike Sloop and traveled the world while Mike was in the Air Force. She later retired from the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System working in the Cafeteria at East Meck High School. She enjoyed church, and spending time with friends and family.
Alice was preceded in death by her brothers Tommy Draddy, Richard Draddy, and Steve Draddy. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years whom she met in Middle School, Mike Sloop; daughter Heather Sloop; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at McEwen Funeral Service, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte beginning at 12:00pm. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00pm. Interment will take place at Sharon Memorial Park.
