Alice Steinback Byram

Charlotte - Alice Byram, 89, entered into eternal rest on November 15, 2013 at Plantation Estates, Matthews, NC, where she had resided for the past 20 years.

Alice was born in Charlotte, NC to the late Otts and Elsie Steinback. After 40 years of service as the comptroller, Alice retired from Myers Park Baptist Church.

She is survived by Mrs. Margaret Prosser. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, William Kenneth Byram; brother, O.D. Steinback; and niece, Debby.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 19th in the auditorium at Plantation Estates, with Chaplain Larry Watts officiating. A reception will follow the service, where the family will greet friends. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery will be private.
