Albert Douglas Han passed away on November 16, 2020 at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Abu Dhabi. Thankfully his wife, Dream; his mother, Eunice; and brother, Martin, were there during his last breath.
A son of Eunice Hahn, he was born in Los Angeles, California on July 28th, 1983. Albert was intelligent and curious. In elementary, he had torn apart brand new computers and put them back together. He breezed through school, achieving awards for his grades.
As an 18 year old, Albert had joined the US Army as answer to the incident of 9/11. He mentioned to his mother he wanted to fight for his country. He served an 8 year term from 2001 and was honorably discharged in 2009 as a E5 Sergeant. He was overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan as a helicopter mechanic during those years. Thankfully returning without a scratch.
After being honorably discharged, Albert had obtained his helicopter license and began his first helicopter company with Era Helicopters. He had a chance to work for the Global Aerospace Logistics, Co in Abu Dhabi in 2014. He was an AW139 aircraft tech and loved working with his fellow workers.
Albert loved food so much he would watch food bloggers on YouTube while eating. He loved playing his guitar and fishing. He was a proud individual and never looked back on what he did. He had a 25 year old wife, Dream, with him and a 3 year old boy, August, she adopted and he chose to take under his care. He was loving and caring in many different ways.
A service to celebrate Albert's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 9th at McEwen Funeral Home - Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road in Charlotte. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the National Cemetery in Salisbury.
