Rose was employed by GE/Allied Chemical and retired from Ellett Brothers as a Buyer. She was a kind, loving mother, grandmother, sibling and friend. Her family meant the world to her. She treated her many nieces and nephews as her own children.
Rose loved to be outdoors. You would find her in the yard, garden or flower beds on any given day. She loved to cook and bake for her friends and family and share her recipes with future generations. She also enjoyed living on the lake and walks on the beach. Her love for cooking came from her Mom who owned a restaurant and gas station in Chapin beside her childhood home; the rock house in Chapin in the center of town.
She taught Sunday School for 16 years at St. Thomas Lutheran Church. She loved the Holidays and decorated for all of the Seasons. She was loved by all and life will not be the same without her.
