Shirley An-Chih Yang

Shirley An-Chih Yang, age 85, of Chandler, Arizona passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023. Shirley Yang was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She adored her grandchildren and was proud of her family.

Shirley was well rounded with many hobbies. She was passionate about gardening and every year had a large crop of oranges, lemons, grapefruit, guava, and figs that she enjoyed sharing with family and friends. Shirley enjoyed cooking and was a wonderful host for many dinner parties that she held. She was an artist who loved to create, draw, and paint. She also loved to sing and dance and would participate in her church choir. She enjoyed travelling, especially cruises, taking many trips with her husband, Steve all over the world. She also was a stamp collector.

Shirley was a kind, generous person who will be deeply missed by her friends and family. She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 60 years, Steve; her daughter, Debbie; her son, Richard (Patrina); grandchildren James and Charlotte; and her two sisters Dorothy and Nancy.

A visitation for Shirley will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Greater Phoenix Chinese Christian Church, 890 West Ray Road, Chandler, AZ 85225, followed by a funeral service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
