Sandra Joann Parker

Sandra (Sandy) Joanne Parker of Chandler, Arizona and formerly of Northridge, California passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 5, 2024. Sandy is survived by her loving children Andrea Parker Goodman and her husband Pete, Steve Parker and his fiancé Anne-Francis Casarez, her brother Cornelius, her grandchildren Kyle and Grace, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

Fiercely devoted to her family, Sandy was the quintessential Kool-Aid mom on the block when her children were growing up and her home was always open to all the kids in the neighborhood. Sandy loved going shopping with her daughter Andrea, cheering on the Los Angeles Dodgers and Rams with her son Steve, watching The Price Is Right with her granddaughter Grace, playing mahjong and canasta with her dear friends at Solera and spoiling her beloved cat Henry.

Most of all, Sandy loved traveling the world with her sweetheart Joseph to whom she was married for almost 58 years before his passing in August 2022.

The family would like to thank Traditions Hospice (Lucy, Elizabeth, Barbara, Maria and Pastor Scott) for the wonderful care they provided to their mom.

A memorial for Sandy and Joe will be held at a later date at Valhalla Memorial Park in North Hollywood, California.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
