of Sun Lakes, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2010 with her family at her side after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 79. Born in Washington, Pa. in 1930, Rose Mary married Arnold J. Fairchild in 1953. She spent 15 years as a cosmetologist. Rose Mary retired to Arizona and spent her time volunteering for Children's First Academy, a school for the homeless. Most of her time was spent caring and cooking for her 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren Survived by Husband, Arnold and four children, AJ Fairchild, Toni Flecker, Michael Fairchild and Lisa DeAndrea. A small family service will be held on Saturday May 22nd, at the Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler. Graveside Service 2pm-3pm. Family Gathering 3:30pm-5pm in Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Children's First Academy of Tempe, a school for the homeless or Hospice of the Valley, Dobson House.
