Pat Gosney passed away peacefully at the age of 79 on June 24, 2011 in Chandler, Arizona. Pat was born on September 20, 1931 in Red Bluff, California to E. Lloyd and Pearl Gosney. After serving in the Army, having a distinguished career playing professional baseball and working for the Olympia Brewing Co., he then worked as a longshoreman for 35 years. Pat is survived by his wonderful loving wife of 20 years, Mary Anne; Sister Sharon (Jim) Jerome; his children Pat (Terri Sue) Gosney, Cary Davis and Mike Gosney and his 2 grandchildren, Michael and Nicole Gosney. He was preceded in death by his brothers Richard and Dennis Gosney. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, golfing, traveling and playing cards. He was a one of a kind and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Services will be held, 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Valley of the Sun Mortuary Chapel, Chandler, Arizona.
