Olga was a parishioner of St. Stevens Catholic Church in Sun Lakes, Arizona. Olga had a love for cooking and she was known for her famous beans and tacos. When she was not cooking she could be found doting on her grandkids and playing bingo. In retirement, Olga immersed herself in her community making many friends, playing Mexican train, and enjoying Friday fish fries.
Olga loved her family and her catholic faith. She had a heart of gold working at Arizona State University as an administrative assistant so her husband could acquire his teaching degree. Olga earned her real estate license while at United Development Inc., where she served as office property manager. She also worked at Jesus Chapel, performing a variety of roles before retiring to Sun Lakes in 2004.
Olga was preceded in death by her parents Gabriel Yescas Robles and Aurora “Quata” Celaya, and sister Evangeline Mavis. She will be greatly missed by her sister Marcella Kuamoo and Olga`s sons Hector Harold Bejarano Jr. (Karen), Steven Gabriel Bejarano Sr, Michael Anthony Bejarano (Tina), Lee Allen Robles (Leander), and Larry Alan Robles (Vikki). She will be remembered fondly by her 13 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. George Nseir and his team at Premier Cardiovascular Center in Chandler, Arizona who never gave up on saving Olga`s leg. The family would also like to thank the nursing staff at Chandler Regional Hospital and at Hospice of the Valley Dobson Home for the outstanding compassionate care given to Olga.
The family would like to invite friends and family to join them for a visitation at Valley of the Sun Mortuary on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 8:30 am. Followed by a rosary at 10 am and mass at 10:30 am at St. Steven`s Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers the family would like to ask for donations to be made to Hospice of the Valley .
