Kathleen Jane Stein

She was born in Mason City, Iowa on May 9, 1950. Kathleen Jane Seymour graduated from Mason City High School and went on to attend Iowa State University for college.

She was married to Gregory James Stein on June 3, 1972 in Ames, Iowa. Kathleen worked hard at her career in retail and manufacturing. She was a member of Daughters of The American Revolution and had a passion for art. She also had a passion for playing the clarinet and writing poetry. Kathleen was also big into genealogy and was able to trace her family all the way back to the American Revolutionary War.

She is survived by her husband Gregory James Stein, her sister Susan (Jerry) Currie, Her brother Steven (Vicki), Nephews Todd and Jeff Seymour, and nieces Erin (Currie) Thompson and Jill (Currie) Fellin.

In lieu of flowers the Stein family would like to ask you to donate to a charity or organization of your choosing that would honor Kathleen`s memory.

There will be a memorial service at Valley of the Sun Mortuary Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM. The family invites all of Kathleen`s loved ones to join them in honoring an incredible woman who loved her friends and family fiercely, and was a bright light in this world.
