Janice had many interests, in addition to playing golf, she loved to travel and visited such divergent places as Ireland, Costa Rica, Egypt, Poland, England, Italy, and the Galapagos Islands. She also made routine visits back to the Bay Area, being sure to be there for Christmas to make her famous marinated crab (a secret family recipe shared only with her by her cousin Vivian) for her family to enjoy on Christmas Eve. She also made numerous trips throughout Arizona, meeting many new friends along the way.
Her family wants to acknowledge the support she received by her friends and by Ryan Wurzel and his incredible staff from Helpful Hands Home Care over the past few months, people who brought joy and meaning to her last days.
Janice asked that in lieu of flowers to please contribute to support cancer research, either to Banner Health Foundation (Arizona), St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital Foundation, or a charity program of your choice.
