Our Father/Husband/Grandpa/Uncle Henry Lee Davis was born in Jackson, Mississippi to the Union of Ruthe Bell Thomas Davis and Tommy Lee Davis.
Henry Lee "Hank" Davis was proceeded in death by both parents, his two sisters, Maxine Hollinger, Bernice Earnestine Ruff, and his step-daughter Georgia Dean Hollinger.
Henry Lee "Hank" Davis received his elementary and high school education in Jackson, Mississippi and completed his General Education Diploma as an adult in Inglewood, California.
Henry Lee "Hank" Davis worked many different jobs throughout his 87 years of life, he worked as a construction worker in his earlier years. Before working in the steel industry, he worked for Livers Bronze Co. for many years where he retired, later moving from Kansas City, Missouri to Los Angeles, California to start his retirement, while taking a dare from friends, Henry Lee "Hank" Davis took that dare to take an entrance exam for the City of Inglewood, California for a part time employment, where he received the highest score ever, and received high recognition from the City of Inglewood, and was given a position on a full time basis.
Henry Lee "Hank" Davis was God fearing, smart, loving, caring, compassionate, and giving. Anyone who knew him, saw that in him, and they knew right away he was a child of the most "High God". Henry Lee "Hank" Davis was a man of integrity, honesty and never let you down.
Henry Lee "Hank" Davis leaves so many, many precious memories to be cherished by a loving wife, Yvonne Elizabeth Davis, and five children, along with four step children; Henry Lee Davis Jr., Ruth Faye Davis, Georgia Jean Davis Jones, Tommy Lee Davis, Michelle "Shelley" Williams, Earvin T. Hollinger, Tina L. Davis, Brian Bolden, and Yvette Callis.
