He is survived by his wife, Debra Marshall; his daughters, Jennifer Silverman (Ben) of Queen Creek, AZ and Stephanie Marshall of Phoenix, AZ; his step sons, Christopher Klootwyk (Nichole) of Scottsdale, AZ, and Andrew Klootwyk (Kimberly) of Redwood City, CA; his grandchildren, Jason and Brayden Silverman, Nathan, Kevin and Justin Klootwyk, and Joshua, Rio and Sofia Klootwyk; his sister, Lynette Belew (Scooter) of Chandler, AZ; and his nephews, Christopher Adams (Julie, Spencer & Alex) and Michael Adams (Celeste).
Gary graduated from Westwood High School in Mesa, AZ in 1967 and received his BS in Business Administration Accounting from Arizona State University in 1976. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Gary had a lifelong career in Accounting and Financial Management for numerous local companies, retiring from Global Sales Group in 2019.
Above all, Gary loved his Family and God Almighty. He was an avid golfer, had a passion for weather statistics, was a fan of the Phoenix Suns, the Arizona Diamondbacks and ASU Football. He was a devout member of First Presbyterian Church in Mesa, AZ since childhood. And last but not least, he LOVED a daily dose of ice cream.😊
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life service to be held at First Presbyterian Church, 161 N Mesa Dr, Mesa, AZ 85201 on Thursday afternoon, October 27th, 2022 at 4:00 pm.
