She was born in Bremerton, Washington on April 11, 1935 and later graduated from Queen Anne High School. She married Richard M. Smith in Seattle, Washington on September 5, 1953. Diane had a career in Retail Sales and worked for many years at Sears on Aurora Ave. also in Seattle. She had a passion for sewing, knitting, working in her yard, and especially traveling.
Diane is survived by her children: daughters, Debbie Brunette, Danielle (Erik) Wallgren, and Darci Becker; grandchildren: Devyn (Tim) Gunn, Josh (Katy) Wallgren, Elyssa Wallgren, and Zack Wallgren; great grandchildren: Kayla Tocco and Emma Tocco; nieces, Robin (Mike) Masters and Jill (Jack) Ambler.
