Darlene Grace Dunn

February 7, 2024. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 13th, 1941. She married Gary Alan Dunn on September 26th, 1981. She was a devoted member of Risen Saviour Lutheran Church.

She had a passion for collecting angels and elephants, and taking care of her cats and dogs. She had a sparkling personality and loved to laugh.

Darlene retired from the Maricopa County Department of Health after 30 years. In addition to Gary Alan Dunn, she is preceded in death by her older brother, Leslie Heinlein.

She is survived by her brother William Heinlein, step children Michael Dunn, Robert Dunn, and Alison Dunn. She is also survived by six step grandchildren, Nieces Dawn and Adrienne, and nephews Brett, Adam, and Keith. She will be missed by family and friends alike.

A graveside service for Darlene will be held Monday, February 19, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248.
