Carolyn S McIntyre

Carolyn Bailey McIntyre passed away on April 4, 2022 surrounded by her family. Carolyn was born on September 8, 1936 in Anderson, Indiana to Claude and Kathryn Bailey. She grew up in Anderson and graduated from Anderson High School in 1954. After high school she had 4 children who became her whole world. She worked for General Motors for 30 years and retired in 2001. She then moved to Arizona to be close to her family.

Carolyn had a love of holidays, a passion for decorating and a talent for crafting. Her amazing creativity was cherished by all who knew her and that creativity has been instilled in her children and grandchildren. Carolyn's favorite holiday was Thanksgiving and she loved nothing more than preparing and hosting her family each year. Carolyn was unselfishly devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carolyn is preceded in death by both her parents and her son Gregory Keith McIntyre. She is survived by her 3 children, Dawn Barrett (Robert), Scott McIntyre (Teri) and Monte McIntyre (Lynn); her 9 grandchildren, Carrie Clemmer, Ryan Ockomon, Misty Davis, Lindsey McIntyre, Alex McIntyre, Bryan McIntyre, Zachary McIntyre, Wesley McIntyre, Brody McIntyre; her 9 great-grandchildren; her sister Nondas Muncy, niece Debbie Keesling and nephew Mike Surber.

Those of us who were lucky enough to be loved by Carolyn will miss her sense of humor, her beautiful smile, her ability to keep our family close and her absolute unconditional love.
