Carly Alexandra Pratt Yiannou Goode

Carly Alexandra Pratt Yiannou Goode, at 40, after battling breast cancer, passed away on January 30, 2023, in Chandler, AZ. She was the daughter of David and Trina (Russell) Pratt. Born at the Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, TX on March 13, 1982, Carly grew up as an Army brat in several locations to include Ft Bliss, Ft Knox, Germany, Manhattan, KS, Colorado Springs, and Tempe, AZ. She attended several schools through high school where she graduated at Corona Del Sol High School in 2000. After completing a year at a Christian ministry, she developed a passion to be a plumber and started off working as a plumber’s apprentice for several plumbing companies in Arizona. Marriage and being a mother trumped a plumbing career. She always wanted to be a mother.

Carly was a loving and compassionate person who loved life, especially her three beautiful children, her soulmate and her family. She loved music and loved to sing. Carly had a beautiful voice and would sing to her children from the time of their birth to the present… they absolutely loved it!

Appropriately self-nicknamed “Sunny 13”, an abundance of sunlight, joy and happiness, a name that can’t help but make you smile. Carly’s light shined bright with beauty and grace. She had the most beautiful smile that would light up your soul.

Most of all she loved and adored her three beautiful children. Carly poured her unconditional love beyond measure into her children. They were her world, and each of them knew it… she was an awesome mom!

Carly was a mother and bonus mom, wife/fiancée, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. She was also a successful businesswoman who impacted the lives of over 50 employees and their families. She left a legacy with this last plumbing company where she worked at the last two years of her life. But Carly’s greatest legacy she left was her three wonderful and amazing children.

She is survived by her fiancé, Michael Goode, her three loving children, Sophia, Iliana and Sotirios Yiannou and bonus son, Rhyse; mother and father, Trina and David Pratt; her sister and best friend, Jenna (Michael) Reape; her niece, Pyper Reape; grandmother, Shirley Pratt; her aunts, uncles and several cousins.

A memorial/interment service will be on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. private for family at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, 10940 E Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248. A celebration of Carly’s life will be in Chandler, AZ on Saturday, February 25, 2023, starting at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Bikers for Boobies AZ or to the charity of your choice.
