Beverly Edith Nielsen

evening of Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Her husband, Dee of 72 years and family were by her

side. Known as Mimi to her fourteen grandchildren and their spouses and her twenty-two

great-grandchildren.

She was born in Huntington, Utah July 20, 1933. Beverly graduated from Huntington High

School. She was married to Vern Dee Nielsen on May 19, 1951 in Huntington, Utah.

Beverly devoted her life to her husband, daughter’s, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She also helped her husband Dee manage their Trucking Company. Beverly enjoyed hosting

family dinners and get togethers. She always said, “Together is a great place to be.” She

recently celebrated her 90th birthday surrounded by her loved ones and life long friends.

Beverly had no greater joy than spending time with her loved ones. She was immensely proud

of her family, and leaves behind nothing but a beautiful lifetime of memories. Her favorite color

was purple.

Beverly was preceded in death by her youngest daughter Jody (Terry) Montierth. She is

survived by her loving husband Dee, and three of their daughters. Echo (Ronnie DC) Truex,

Judy (Mark) Montgomery, Heidi (Lorenzo) Nielsen. She also was blessed with ten grandsons

and four granddaughters: Gidget (Alan), Dee, Ron (Kassi), Amanda, Matt (Piper), Brandon

(Mandy), Shelia (Jeremy), Shane (Rebecca), Ryan (Kelsey), Jonathan (Sam), Cody (Spencer),

Kirsten (Tadd), Tyler, Austin (Ally). She was additionally blessed with twenty-two great

grandchildren: Price, Mae, AJ, Eli, Peyton, Eddie, Alexzander, Kalia, Stetson, Bridger, Kimber,

Rondalynn, Tyberious, Beckham, Dixie, Sawyer, Gavin, Justin, Miles, Maverick, Cooper, and

Cheyenne. Beverly is survived by her brother and sisters: Bruce (Joyce) Brasher, Lori (Lee)

McElprang, and Vee Guyman.

A funeral service for Beverly will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 800 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248.
