Alex was born on July 9th, 2003, in Littleton, Colorado. He went on to live a life where his sweet heart and adventurous soul touched everyone he met. He lived in Colorado till the age of thirteen and spent his high school years in Chandler, Arizona at Hamilton High School and was set to graduate on May 25th.
Alex was a national level competitive gymnast from the age of seven to sixteen. He was on the 5280 gymnastics team in Colorado and became a Jr. Sun Devil at Aspire when relocating to Chandler, Arizona. He received many medals and accolades over the years; two of the most notable being when he took fourth place in the nation on High Bar in 2017 and second place in the nation on floor in 2018. Floor was his favorite event as he excelled at tumbling. Alex loved music and got really in to skateboarding after leaving gymnastics. He was a naturally gifted athlete and was good at every sport or activity he tried. Alex was very social and loved spending time with friends and doing adventurous things. Alex is known for his smile that could light up any room, his contagious laugh, and caring soul.
Alex is survived by his father Matt, his mother’s Lindsay and Kari, his brother Austin, his sisters Arie and Ayla, his older siblings Tori and Steven, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be missed beyond measure.
