He is the son of the late George and Ilene (Roles) Miller.
John was not a graduate but put his knowledge to work in establishing his wish of being in business. With his wife Nancy Flair he met his goal as proprietors of Pappy’s Pub in Waynesboro since 1989. He was well known for his Jazz Bands and continuous music entertainment bringing many bands to the area and giving many locals a change to exceed and show their talents.
He was a very good listener and loved to talk to everyone. Lots of stories to be told.
Besides his parents he was preceded in passing by his siblings George Miller Jr., Ilene McElwaine and Robert B. Miller.
He is survived by his wife Nancy and step-children, Jay Smith, Lucretia Hock, Fred Flair; companions, Stacy Cordell and Wendy Sprouse; sisters, Edith McNew, Christine Wenger and Laurie Millard; 5 step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren.
There will be no funeral services as per John’s request. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for friends, family and all who would like to share his life at Pappy’s Pub.
