Vincent "Pete" B. Caruso Sr.

Vincent “Pete” B. Caruso Sr. passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the age of 79. He was the cherished husband of the late Joyce Dusang Caruso for 57 years. Loving father of Vincent B. Caruso Jr. (Kim), Vicki C. Rogerson (Thomas) and Vivian C. Senez (David). Son of the late Carlo Caruso and Leona Reiss Caruso. Brother of Madeline Borrouso, Bernard “Benny” Caruso and the late Bernadine “Bernie” Caruso, Louis “Blu” Caruso and Lawrence “Deedles” Caruso. Proud grandfather of Jessica, T.J., Corey, Valerie, Blake, Krysta, Amanda and the late David. Great grandfather of Whitney, Preston, Grayson, Zayden and Kinleigh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Vincent was a native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish, currently residing in Slidell, LA. He will be forever remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 12:00 PM. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to David J.
