Sally was born April 17, 1948, in Fort Worth, Texas and grew up in McAllen, Texas. Sally married James H. Lord on February 20, 1973, in Corpus Christi, Texas, and the two were together until his passing on February 11th, 2000.
They relocated to St. Bernard, Louisiana and welcomed their only child, Michelle Morgan Lord, in 1975. After Hurricane Katrina In August 2005, Sally relocated to Pflugerville, Texas, where she resided with her daughter and her family until her death.
Sally is survived by her sister, Missey Morgan, her daughter, Michelle Morgan Lord-Shields, her grandchildren, Kristen Bobinger, William D. Shields, and Morgan A. Shields, and her great grandchild, James E. Shields.
A short service will be held graveside, with Pastor John Galey presiding, in her honor, on Friday, November 29th at 10:00 am at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens (at the family mausoleum).
