Rudoll Arcement Sissac

Rudoll A. Sissac passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the age of 100. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some way throughout her very memorable life. She was the cherished wife of the late Roger H. Sissac Sr. Loving mother of Anthony P. Sissac, Constance S. LeRoy (Joe) and Henry R. Sissac Sr. (Donna). Step-mother of Roger H. Sissac Jr. Daughter of the late Antoine Arcement and Cordelia L. Arcement. Sister of Joyce Bonvillian and the late Mabel Guglielmo, Peter Arcement, Grace Guglielmo, George Arcement, Marcella Benoit, Jack Arcement, Saul Arcement and Arthur Arcement. Proud grandmother of Dawn L. Taylor, Kim L. Pizzitolo, Tammy Sissac, Sandra Sissac, Daniel Sissac, Tina Sissac and the late Henry Sissac Jr. Great Grandmother Elizabeth Sissac, Scott Maillet, Raymond Armand III, Lauryn Armand and Peyton Taylor. Great-great grandmother of Jose Maillet. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Rudoll was born in Raceland, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish before settling in Lacombe, LA. She truly enjoyed life through her simple pleasures of cooking & baking for friends and family and gardening and growing her amazing flowers and vegetables. She found pleasure in the details of everyday life and cared deeply for those around her. She was well loved and will be deeply missed by us all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, October 26th from 9:00AM – 11:00AM, followed by a memorial service in memory of Rudoll beginning at 11:00AM. She will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
