Michael Allen “Mikey” “Rook” Labat Jr., passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the age of 39. He was the loving husband to his beautiful wife Laura Labat. Caring father to his adorable sons, Michael Allen Labat III and Trey Michael Labat. Devoted son to Theresa Honold (Jody) and Michael Labat Sr.; brother Allen Labat and to the late Sky Labat; son-in-law of David and Becky Carter; brother-in-law of Jody and Crystina Domingo, the late Porkchop and the late Candy Carter.
Michael was born on December 10, 1983 in New Orleans, LA and was a lifelong residence of St. Bernard, LA. He was a commercial fisherman. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing and running his dogs. His greatest joy was being the best husband to his loving wife, dad, son, brother, paran, uncle and friend. Although we only had him for a short time, he will live in our hearts forever.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM.
