Larry Louis St. Romain, Sr. passed from this life on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the age of 74. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on December 3, 1947 to the late Richard and Shirley St. Romain. Husband of the late Karen St. Romain. Cherished father of Gail St. Romain Dardis (Joey), and Larry L. St. Romain, Jr. Poppy to his four adoring grandchildren, Melanie, Nathaniel, Grace, and Jonathan Dardis. Brother of Dennis St. Romain (Yvette) and the late Wayne St. Romain. Uncle to Robert St. Romain (Missy), and the late Dustin St. Romain. Great-uncle to Gabrielle. He also leaves behind many close cousins and extended family.
Larry was a Navy veteran and lifelong employee of Tulane Medical Center, holding the position of Director of Plant Operations until his retirement in 2010. Through his life, he enjoyed reading, cultivating Bonsai trees, and building mini steam engines. He lived the last years of his life with his daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. He was surrounded by love. We will miss him always.
