It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Janice “Jan” Marian Drew, who peacefully left us at the age of 88. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, whose heart was filled with love for her family, animals, and the simple joys of life. Janice is survived by her grandchildren, Crystal Cochrane (Mark) and Robert Drew; her great grandchildren, Brandon Jackson, Jesse Cochrane, Hunter Drew and Zoey Drew. She is preceded in death by her husband, George “Bob” Drew; her son, Gary Drew; her parents Catherine Calvert & Robert Indihar.
Janice was a devoted widow and cherished her life’s passions. She had an unwavering love for her horses and dogs, spending many joyful hours caring for them and sharing their companionship. Her love of nature extended to picking blueberries, where she found peace and contentment among the bushes that produced the sweet fruits of summer. A talented baker and decorator, she brought joy to countless weddings and parties with her beautifully crafted cakes. Her hands were also skilled in creating jewelry and blankets, crafting items that held warmth and love. Her creativity and generosity knew no bounds, and she poured her heart into everything she made. Above all, Janice’s greatest joy was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Their bond was a special one, and she took immense pride in watching each of them grow and flourish. Family meant everything to her, and she found immense comfort in being surrounded by loved ones. Rest in peace, Janice. You are forever in our hearts
