Daniel "Danny" Albert

Daniel “Danny” Albert was born December 19, 1951 and was lifted to Heaven on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 after a valiant battle with cancer. He was a U.S Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War and was an avid golfer as a longtime member of the Oak Harbor Golf Club. Danny was one of the original founders of the VERN’s Golf club with whom he spent countless hours playing the game he loved. He was born to the union of the late Jewel and Arthur Albert, Jr. He enjoyed a beautiful life with his wife Judith “Judy” Albert of 48 years. Danny was preceded in death by their daughter, Danielle Albert and his parents. He is survived by his wife Judith “Judy” Albert; his brothers, Arthur Albert III, (Donna) and Raymond Albert (Darlene); sister-in-law, Sandy Weese (The late Norris Weese); brother-in-law, George Fitch, Jr, (Rosie) and his daughter Tonia Doakes (Roderick). He is also survived by his granddaughter; Brandy Lumar (Quinton) and his great granddaughters; Da’Zani Williams and Demi Lumar; nephews, Keith Albert, Brent Fitch and Jacob Weese; nieces, Brooke (Ryan) and Nicole Albert, Jessica Matthews (Andy), Nicole Vodanovich (Adam), Melissa and Andrea Weese, and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the St. Bernard Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 701 W. Virtue Street, Chalmette, LA for 12:00 pm with a Celebration of Life to follow at a later date.
