Brett Anthony Gagliano

Son of Salvador Gagliano Jr. and Renee Collins Gagliano. Brother to Brooke Gagliano Alfaro (Logan) and Uncle & Godfather “PanPan” to Easton Alfaro. Father to Brett McLean “Lil Brett”, Kaydence Collins “KayKay”; their mother Gabrielle Ashley Grass “Gabby” and her parents Darlene and Stanley Reider. Grandson of Lucy W. Collins “Meme” and the late Nicholas D. Collins (Duke) ”papa” and Linda A. Gagliano “Nana” and the late Salvador Gagliano Sr. ”pawpaw.” Nephew to Chuck and Michelle (Godparents) and Anthony & Kristy; cousins Meghan (Pearce), Hannah, Payton and Alyssa, Clarise Ducros (Aiden) and Alex Ducros.

Brett loved doing anything outdoors growing up, especially hunting, riding 4-wheelers and being out on the water. As a teenager Brett worked as a deckhand on an oyster boat (Donnie and Ronnie Campo). As an adult his love for the water continued and he was a deckhand for Bellechase Marine and worked his way up to Crew Boat Captain.

Brett’s love for others was like Jesus “Reckless.” He loved listening to music, especially artist Kevin Gates. He loved to make you laugh and his smile was contagious. Brett’s big hugs were the best for they always brought you comfort.

A special thank you to those of you, despite Brett’s struggles, experienced his laughter, his tears, his genuine heart and bright spirit. Donna Steve and Moe, you know who you are. Also, special thanks to his best friend and “big brother” Chris Bulliard.

Although you will be missed beyond comprehension, we know you’re at complete peace. Rest easy and watch over us. There will not be a day our hearts don’t ACHE and miss that grunt/humming sound only those who had the honor of knowing you could appreciate. Until we meet again, my beautiful, unflawed angel. Mom
