Bernard Robert Warner

Bernard Robert Warner Sr. passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023 at the age of 64. Loving father of Bernard Robert Warner Jr. and stepfather of James Landry. Longtime companion of Rosemary Canzoneri. Brother of Aldoris Warner (the late Loree), Glen “Whitey” Freeman (Denise), Jennings Freeman (Patty), Debra Ard (Michael), Dianne Corley and Mary Melerine. Proud grandfather of Bryce Robert Warner, Luca Warner and Jace Landry. He is also survived by host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Flora Halford and Herman Warner Sr.; brothers Herman Warner Jr., Joseph Warner, and Ricky Halford.

Bernard was born on March 21, 1959 in Glostor, MS and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and being outdoors. His outgoing personality crafted many friendships and enduring relationships that truly made him one of a kind. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, April 7, 2023 from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
