Claude Hathcock was born February 5, 1949. He was the son of the late Fonza and Juanita Hathcock. He loved hunting, fishing, farming, and family, but most of all, the Lord.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol Hathcock of Centreville; son, Chris (Carla) Hathcock of Brent; 3 daughters, Candy (Dann) Phillips of Easton, PA, Carla (Bryan) Mobley of Brent, and Carmon (Don) Dunkin of Pondville; grandchildren, Derek Gill, Victoria (Tyrell) Gill, Brittany (Ty) Averette, Mattison (Kendall) Horton, Keith (Wendy) Mobley, Jaden Hathcock, and Jared Dunkin; great grandchildren, Kilynn Day, Palmer Ledgerwood, Anna Kate Horton, Lucas Horton, Collin Rawlins, Gavin Mobley, and Emily Smitherman; sister, Clara Claxon of Tampa, Florida; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fonza and Juanita Hathcock; and his sister, Peggy Murphy.
A graveside service for William Claude Hathcock will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Little Hope Cemetery in Eoline, Alabama.
Serving as pallbearers are Jaden Hathcock, Jared Dunkin, Cody Manderson, Cole Manderson, Clay Worrell, and Sam Worrell.
Honorary Pallbearers are Cal Goodson, David England, DCH 3rd Floor MICU Employees and Dr. Hollis at Bibb Medical Center.
