Thomas is survived by his wife, Thomasine Royster; son, Kenneth E. Rinehart; grandchildren, Layne Rinehart, Tanner Horton, Zack Rinehart (Misty), and Jeff Rinehart (Catlyn); 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Jonnie R. Campbell and Shirley R. Fike.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Pullen Rinehart; son, Thomas Lawayne Rinehart; parents, Otha and Sadie Rinehart; brothers, Otha Rinehart, Jr., Will T. Rinehart, Henry G. Rinehart, Walter O. Rinehart, and James F. Rinehart; and sisters, Annie R. Barton, Mildred R. Weeden, Gladys R. Gable, Jean R. Hartshorn, and Elizabeth R. Kilgore.
A Celebration of Life for Tom will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Heiberger Methodist Church, Highway 5, Marion, Alabama 36756 with Dr. George Washburn and Rev. Robert Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Heiberger Methodist Church Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Mike Fike , Mark Fike, Chase Hobson, Brad Hobson, David Norman and Paul Wheeler.
Honorary pallbearers are John Anderson, Jr., Roy Aultman, Jim Brady, Elmore Moore, Cathy and the Staff at Avanna Hospice, and Berlinder Blevins.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to Heiberger Methodist Church Cemetery.
