Mr. Presley David Burnett

Presley David Burnett “Pop”, age 94, of Centreville entered into rest on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Hospice of West Alabama. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Hickman Chapel with Rockco Funeral Home directing and Rev. Allen Cunningham officiating. Interment will be held after the service at Hickman Chapel Cemetery in Greenpond, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his father, Emery Burnett; mother, Roberta Graves; grand-daughter Melissa Enfinger; two great-grandsons; J.C. Burt and Jordan Burnett; and four sisters; Ada, Mamie, Bernice, and Irene. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Gloria Burnett of Centreville; three sons, David Burnett (Sandra) of Centreville; Donnie Burnett (Dale) of Centreville; and Roger Burnett of Centreville; four daughters, Marilyn Fondren (Billy) of Centreville; Susan Enfinger of Centreville; Nancy Smith (David) of West Blocton; and Kay Cochran (Earl) of Maplesville; three sisters; Mildred Harmon (Warren) of Greenpond; Ruby Pierson of West Blocton; and Faye Smith of Greenpond; ten grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brad Burnett, Daniel Burnett, Patrick Burnett, John Cochran, Anthony Fondren, Corey Terry, Christian Terry, and Gary Terry.
