Ora is preceded in death by her parents, Viola Marie Dixon Arnold and John Edward Arnold; her husband, James Earl Smith Sr.; her sister, Ida May Arnold Smith; her brother, Edward Eugene Arnold; and her son, Gerald Wayne Smith.
She is survived by her children, Brenda Jean Smith Douglas (Joe), James Earl Smith JR., and John E. Smith (Deniese); her grandchildren, Joey Douglas, Leslie Hardin (Nathan), and Tiffany Belk (Jay); and her great-grandchild, Nate Hardin.
A graveside for Ora will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Waycross Bible Methodist Church Cemetery, Marion, Alabama. Brother Mike McMillian, officiating services.
Serving as pallbearers are John Smith, Joey Douglas, Nathan Hardin, Nate Hardin, Daniese Smith and Jimmy Smith.
