Martha Elizabeth Wallace, 68, a lifetime resident of Lawley, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 8th, 2017. Mrs. Wallace was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Lois Foster; two brothers and one sister. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ernie Wallace of Lawley; daughters Gail Watkins (Mark) of Tuscaloosa and Susan Smelley (John) of Centreville; brother John Walter Foster of Portland, Oregon; sisters, Doris Jones of Centreville, Betty Wallace of Centreville and Mary Sue Terry of Lawley; five grandchildren, Kalli, Katie, Emily, Taylor and Tanner and a host of extended family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 between the hours of 6pm and 8pm at Rockco Funeral Home in Centreville. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 3pm at Tabernacle Methodist Church. Reverends Stanley Carter and Tom Conroy will officiate. Arrangements are being handled by Rockco Funeral Home in Centreville.
