Kimberly Joy Terry

Kimberly Joy Terry, age 52, of West Blocton, Alabama passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023. She grew up in Hebron and graduated from West Blocton High School. She was a member of Lowerytown Baptist Church. She was a wife, mother, GiGi and caregiver. In addition to taking care of her family, she also enjoyed shopping, gardening, fishing and Alabama football. Most of all, she loved God.

She was preceded in death by her father, Victor Frank Scurlock, Sr.; her mother, Mary Thomas Hughes; and brother, Victor Frank Scurlock, Jr. Kim is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart, Bobby Joe Terry; daughter, Hali Rochelle Tubbs (Taylor); son, Justin Andrew Boothe (Natalie); grandchildren, Sophie Blake, Brantley Blake and Mila Tubbs; brothers, James "Mickey" Scurlock (Christie) and Troy Scurlock (Lisa); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Kim will be held Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home, 805 Birmingham Rd, Centreville, Alabama 35042. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Reno Baptist Church, 21256 US 11, McCalla, AL. Bro. Marvin Terry and Bro. Adam Montgomery will officiate.

Kimberly will be laid to rest in Charles Wesley Stewart Cemetery, Vance Blocton Rd, West Blocton, Alabama 35184.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials be directed to Reno Baptist Church.
